  • Rolled finishes are produced on sheet material by passing the steel between rollers under pressure. The finish ranges from a bright and reflective surface to an embossed pattern.
  • Polished finishes are produced by grinding, polishing and buffing the metal until desired design or surface is achieved. This kind of finish is quite common in architectural applications.  
  • Etched finishes are produced by blasting with abrasive grit or glass beads to wear away a defined area. Metal templates are used to mask off portions of the metal. Sometimes, strong acid is also used to give a finish.
